Welcome to My World

In high school I couldn't travel that much, so I took photo opportunities when I could. In spring, I would spend hours in the yard, with my dog, photographing the flowers and plants my mom had used for landscaping. When I ran out of plants to photograph I made my own opportunities by mixing water and oil in a glass pan over my colorful spandex pants to capture the textures. In the winter I would put on my gloves and sit in the splash-zone of the fountain in our yard to capture the ice formations that had developed the night before.

My world has got a little bigger since then, and my photography captures that.
